Germet

A modular purchasing platform that makes garment sourcing legible, comparable, and auditable. Development status: Building. Problem addressed: Fashion sourcing is not "buy fabric." It is coordinating a multi-component product across multiple countries, lead times, quality constraints, and contracts. A jacket is a system: outer fabric, lining, zipper, buttons, thread, labels, packaging, assembly, shipping, compliance documents. Each component has different suppliers, different minimum order quantities, different risks, different delivery windows, different contracts. Buyers struggle to answer basic questions fast: Where are we exposed? What is driving cost? What can be swapped without breaking quality? What was built or designed: Germet makes the garment legible. It turns sourcing into a structured model: Garment → Components → Supplier Options → Decisions → Contracts → Orders → Delivery. A buyer can finally answer, fast: Where are we exposed (risk)? What is driving cost (components)? What can be swapped without breaking quality? What is the fastest path to production? Who is accountable for each component? This historical record does not claim customers, revenue, adoption or deployment.
